Guaranteed Growth Funds are investment fund options available for the Flexible Savings Plan, Lifetime and Wealthmaster Plan, Portfolio Bond and Premier Account.
This information should be read in conjunction with the product literature and the Guaranteed Growth Funds section of the relevant Fund Guide for each product.
The aim of the Guaranteed Growth Funds is to generate capital growth over the medium to long term (at least five years), with some stability in the short term.
Growth in the fund depends on bonuses set by CMI Insurance Company Limited. The level of bonuses set depends on the performance of the investments that make up the fund.
A reduction may apply on full or partial surrender if you withdraw from the funds before the end of the agreed investment date, or for regular withdrawals or fund switches.
*CMI Insurance Company Limited guarantees that the price of units in the Guaranteed Growth Funds can never fall, although a market value adjuster (MVA) may apply if you withdraw from the funds before the end of the plan term. The level of MVA depends on the currency and date of investment. However, please note that if the investment term of your GGF7 holding is shorter than ten years in Flexible Savings Plan, your encashment at maturity may still be reduced by a market value adjuster (MVA). Please read the 'Guaranteed Growth Funds and market value adjuster explained leaflet (HE568) for more information.
Past performance is not indicative of future performance. The value of investments can fall as well as rise.
For information on when the market value adjuster is applied and circumstances when it does not apply, please read the market value adjuster sections.
